I rock my crocs! I can’t wear them to school (it’s bad enough I get away with tennis shoes) but when I’m on vacation or around the house or whatever I rock em. No shame either.

I don’t get offended by gay jokes. I usually crack them back, remind them I’m gay and watch them squirm.

I've been wearing mine today. It's because I might be too hurried to put on socks and like the strap around the back so it's safer to drive a vehicle.

I don't know what the associations with Crocs are. I see them as preppy or something you'd wear on vacation in a warm place. Is this even close?

Same. I saw one episode of OITNB and thought it was "meh"

One thing that could affect the worthiness of my asexual card is the fact that I am not put off by discussing sexuality or genitalia or such things? Because none of it is attractive to me, I can talk about it all in a very matter-of-fact way. Talking about those parts is like talking about an elbow to me. The taboo is less for me because nothing about it excites me or seems "naughty". Other asexuals are disgusted by it all.

It seems to be a very British disdain (something we do very well on this small island). You guys across the pond seem more relaxed about Crocs. Maybe it's my British card that I'm in danger of losing?

Haha. You might be right. I’ve rarely heard anything positive about them. Though my daughter has several pairs and wears odd crocs (one green, one pink) and does get compliments. :grinning:

I can't dance worth a damn (and have no desire to)

This is more a gay male stereotype

I think I can play along. The responses are funny! Straight crossdresser so I pretty much, in some people's eyes, handed in my straight card by dressing. I don't count that one though. Haha. I honestly don't care about college or professional sports much at all. I might watch a game if one is on, but I couldn't tell you any popular players names or the current best teams. I'm also kind of into what I consider girly shows and chick flicks. Makeup and clothing ideas along with some drama

Losing my crossdressing card? That's kind of tough. Only thing I can think would be, before I obtained my own makeup and clothes, I would attempt to crossdress in male clothes. Try to make them feminine looking. It totally looked silly. What do you guys think? Any ideas on how to pull my CD card?

I didn't know that. Here, they're only slightly odd. People of all genders and age groups have them but they don't seem to be too, too common. Middle aged men wear them in tan, gray, and dark blue colors. Young girls wear them in neon and crayon colors. For a man, they don't rock the boat or raise eyebrows if they're a boring color and are worn with jeans or shorts and a short sleeve shirt or t-shirt. I never thought I would like them but they are darn easy to wear and are a good addition to numerous pairs of flip flops. There are also the off brand versions which are a small fraction of the cost of brand name ones.

Crocs dont cause your gay card to be revoked, they just cause you to lose all credibility and sense of style. They are probably the most hideous pair of shoes next to those toe shoes people occasionally wear.

    *shudder*

I thought losing all credibility and sense of style was how you lost your gay card.

I have never watched RuPaul's Drag Race, nor Queer Eye, nor Orange is the New Black, etc.

I also have no interest whatsoever in going to Pride events.

I also consider myself somewhat religious and still observe my Catholic faith, which for a lot of LGBT people is a big no-no.

I have a mild interest in sports, enough to wear team gear and watch games. I do like baseball and will occasionally watch hockey, but for the most part I don't really follow them faithfully like a lot of die-hard sports fans in this area (and Philly has a lot of die hard sports fans).

Not really in my book. I mean yeah some gays have horrible style, but so do some straights. Crocs are one of those fashion choices that to me, regardless of who you are/what your orientation is, I lose respect for you if you're wearing them. The only exception for some reason is nurses. I've seen a few nurses in the past wear them and although they're still hideous shoes, nurses can somehow pull them off.
