OMG Yes to above! I never got guys having pride in their gender.

    You know you're trans when...

People begin to suspect you of being a closet crossdresser.

When you suck so bad at being in the closet, your friends outs you to yourself!

...And of course, when you have gender dysphoria

YES! Men are indeed beautiful creatures...except me. Only when it's someone else. Women are beautiful too, especially when it's ME. Penis is a great body part, when it's attached to someone else.....

I did find it a bit weird that I understood women....at least as much as any other woman, which is barely.

When you know all about the "lesbian stare" but you're too scared to make extended eye contact with that cutie. I look obviously nonbinary but I'm too chicken to show my sexual interest in women. I'm too scared to ask anyone out or make a move at women because I know 95% of them are straight. I'm a brave person in a lot of ways, but it really hurts to look at a woman and know she'll say no to me before she gets to know me--and I can't blame her. I'm just not a biological male.

When you find a cis person that you look like, then get a bit obsessed with them

when you wake up everyday to ask yourself if you are a girl or a boy...
and go sleeping without a real answer

when you get excited about people questioning if you are male or female (I know it's very rude for most people, but in neutral clothing it's something that made me smile)

-this is more being gender confused or being androgynous but I think someone can relate (?)-

when you get motivated to hit on someone only if they are bisexual

    - When you make an angry middle finger gesture towards your throat during a phone call because you sound like Mickey Mouse.
    - When you're happily fantasizing... about a big needle going someday in your thigh. The little 10 yr old me, who had to be blocked by five nurses for the blood sample, would have never guessed.
    - When you keep an album on your phone of attractive people of the other sex/of ambiguous sex and your friends think it's because you like them, but actually it's because you fantasize about looking like them. "Yes, this must be my version with Adam's apple and a beard. Like… my male twin. Picture saved."
    - (this used to happen before questioning my gender, LOL)
When you have to pick [ ]M or [ ]F on some official certificate and your brain goes in loop like Homer Simpson with a monkey in his head or the hourglass cursor on the pc:
    1) wat. eh? *brain in flatline*
    2) *from the mysterious lands of unconsciousness" M…! M…! *the hand with the pen moves towards M*
    3) What-am-I-ever-doing, WHY, I'm not male, wtf… HIDE THIS THING NOW *the hand moves towards F*
    4) *hand over F* Like… really? *unconscious* This makes no sense *the hand goes in circles*
    5) *brain in flatline*
    […]
    6) …wait. Where did I put the cross, now? I didn't pick M, did I? D: So embarrassing. And so fu**ing illegal. I'm gonna be in big trouble.

When you go to the movies with female friends and all of them want to date the main male character while you simply want to become him.

When you always wanted to play the prince / pirate / cowboy when you were kid and you were angry because others let you only play the princess.

When you are arguing with your mom at the age of four because she keeps telling you that you are her lovely daughter and you have to fight back against it. This is actually my mom' s memories, not mine.

When you refuse to wear the pretty skirt mom bought for you but she insists so you roll in the mud in it and you don' t cry after when you get punished because you take it as a man.

When you still don't understand how guys like being guys. Like wtf is wrong with them? Body hair that only thickens as you get older, male pattern baldness, no hips, flat chest, and a huge upper body. How can you be okay with that, seriously? Not to mention the expectations and ridiculously rigid gender roles. Yeah fuck that.

That special time of the month for transguys. Sulking around, snapping at people, getting weird food cravings, blood everywhere.

    - When your lover of the other sex joked innocently about how it's cool to have their downstair parts and you exclaimed: "I know, I wish I had them too. Just stop please, shut up, don't make me think about it!" and they looked at you with a confused face but you still had no clue that you weren't acting normal...

    - When you feel like a scientist analysing with intellectual enthusiasm some mysterious behaviors more common among people of the other gender.
For instance, shopping. Because in the past I couldn't even get what I was supposed to do all that time in a shop. Then I learned how to pretend I'm doing shopping, but wasn't good at it because I didn't even know that it has specific mental mechanisms. Then I read about that "hunter or gatherer" thing and laugh internally because now I compare clothes I want to buy with deers in a hunt.

    - You use a gender swap filter and when it turns out amazing, it depresses you for weeks
    - You go into a shoe aisle and wonder what your women's shoe size will be
    - You look in the mirror after showering and picture yourself with wider hips

And here's the other side of the medal.

    - When you wonder if gender swap filters exist but promise yourself never to use them because they could show features you would never have even if you transition.
    - When, in front of the mirror, you pull and move the flesh in the waist wondering if you can make a "binder for hips" or a "reverse corset" that enlarges the waist and makes it normal. The shape of my belly doesn't make sense.
    - When you think that if you transition your hands will be small in proportion as those of Donald Trump. Lol. (Even many girls shorter than me have bigger hands than mine)

when you're dreading going back to work next week and going back to 2 lives because you're not out. after spending over a week in trans positive spaces and being called and treated like your real gender, even in guy mode.

Someone says something wildly insensitive or ignorant about trans and gay people. I'm like, girl, you are not ready to hear my backstory.
