Congrats! My school doesn't have one but another school in my city does. Ironically, their mascot are the Dykes.

    Congrats!! That's awesome.

My school's too poor to start one of those, actually. And I doubt there would be any gay members any way, haha.

How much happier I would be to have a group like that...

  10. I wonder if they have GSA in college...the one in my school was incredible for the 1st year (I didn't go, but had friends who did, so they told me how cool it was) then the second year, when all the seniors left, it basically wasn't as good. It was fun by all girls and nobody really went (not that there's anything wrong with it being run by girls)

What is there to do in a GSA thingy? :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

We dont have those kinds of groups here, sadly. Sounds fun though, as you'll meet at lot of new people.

Sometimes I think the ability to start and join a GSA without insults and odd looks is reason enough to want to leave the south. I can't wait to get out of here.

I know how you feel the insults don;t happen so much where I am everyone talks behind your back which I think is worse, but yet the strange looks get to me but I just ignore them and go on my on sweet way lol The were happening before the GSA so I've got nothign to lose and everything to gain I guess.

I'm starting a GSA this year in my school as well, and believe me I know what it's like to be given the evil eye every now and again. Lol go look at where Perry, Georgia is on the map.

    Good luck!
