Of course I'm not going to go out of my way and specifically search for trans men to date but if I found someone attractive and managed to build a relationship up with them, sure it would make things more complicated but I wouldn't just leave them right after they tell me they're trans, I'd try to make it work within the best of my abilities.

I'd be fine with dating a trans person as long as they are done transitioning before the relationship begins and they are honest and don't try to hide it. Though, I don't know if I would date someone who is either in the process of transitioning or hasn't began it yet.

I'm actually in a weird kinda-friends-with-benefits-but-not-really-relationship with a trans girl, and it works as long as I don't bring up her genitals (which are still male) and I imagine her as a girl whenever we do stuff since I'm only sexually attracted to girls and she is only out to a few people and hasn't had hormones or surgery or anything.

It isn't the ideal situation for either of us, and I haven't told her about my gender confusion yet, but it's working so far and even before all this I would've had no problem being with a trans person in any capacity.

Ok...I'm not going to vote because there aren't enough options. I'm non binary /gender fluid....not trans and certainly not cis.

Yes...I would date a trans person. Trans male or female...although my preference is for masculine identifying female or non binary/gender fluid/gender neutral..

So more likely transmale...but I have a dear friend who is transfemale who is interested in dating..

    So...who knows?

Most of us who say no aren't inclined to reply in this thread. Afterall, what else could we say?

I think that that's a very general statement for one person to say. Anyway, there's a big difference between saying no and nothing at all.

Yes, as long as she will eventually be post-op. (It's okay if she hasn't transitioned at all when we first get together.)

There is a really cute transgirl at my school. ^^

I am a trans boy, and I most definitely would date another trans person. Heck I've only really dated trans people in the past.

I would be open to dating a transgender guy or girl with no problem. I am largely ace, so the matter of genitals or sex isn't important to me.

But regardless of whether one is cis or trans, it depends on the individual as to if I'll like them enough to consider dating

Heart says yes. Brain says I don't have enough experience and clear understanding of what I am attracted to in sex/genitals to know for sure.
I am open to the idea, though.

As long as it is quite clear that they are male I would have not problem dating them.

Wonder how many times this question is going to be asked before people realize that the answers will.always be varied, and that you won't like a great deal many that you receive.

Yes, I would date a FtM, but at least hormones would.have to be in the mix with plans for top surgery later on. A lot of communication will be needed.

It's not asked because it makes people "feel good". It's asked because a lot of people are genuinely curious. Anyway, if you look back at how the question has been posed in the past, it is clear almost everyone has limits, and that's obvious by reading the comments.

Not once did I say a person asked to be made to feel good. I am simply stating that by now it had been asked enough time in the last two months that most people already know what answers to expected and who will say what.

Personally, I think the results are a bit more positive this time around. Though, it might simply be because those who said no in the other threads don't see the point of venturing into this one.

Matt, people are off and on this site again a lot. I think you're acting as if there is not a new audience each time this question's asked. Also, most of the threads are personal and somewhat... needy. I think the fact this thread is neutral and the question is specific makes the results very different.

Yeah, it wouldn't be a major deal breaker or anything. If I like you, and you like me, then I don't care if you're trans or not. The person's...equipment*ahem* wouldn't likely be a bother. I guess the simple way of putting it is that I've never thought that I wouldn't date a trans person, and now that I am thinking of it; I can't see any reason why I wouldn't
