Worst thing that's happened to you this year?

My Grandpa dying, finding out my mom has cancer, and a bunch of depressive meltdowns.

Even though it's been really shitty, some good thing have come out of this year.

 

Getting in to college again. I got in last year and within two weeks was homesick, depressed and struggling with the work. Then I got the stomach bug from hell,I had never felt that sick before and genuinely thought I was dying. Now I got in again I have to spend €5000 I don't have on accomadation and I don't know how to solve the problems I had last year and I don't think I can defer again. My parents are thinking about moving to the same city my college is in so the homesickness might not last too long because our house is up for sale already.

 

Getting jumped for wearing leggings, and the fact my bruised rib is taking longer to heal since in obsessed with wearing a corset

 

Getting divorced, thereby ending a 20 year relationship, and realizing I'm probably never going to live with my children full time again.
Also, petty as this is, weight gain. I'm gained 50 lbs in 12 months and we know it's medication related but my attempts to stop taking it have been...yeah, not so great

 

My friend committed suicide, and I was forced to come out to my parents...all in one summer

My parents don't accept me being gay but it's not too bad I guess.
