Why do I automatically watch every post I make or comment on?

I went to my preferences and set it so it doesn’t watch every post I add by default, but for some reason every post I write or comment in gets watched by me automatically anyway. I looked through every setting on this website, but every single one of my posts gets watched by default. It’s really starting to annoy me, because it looks hella weird when I watch each post I add in. Any tips?

Do you mean you get an email notification or you see your mini avatar superimposed on the OP’s avatar? If it’s the avatar, I don’t think you can turn that off.
