    I came out here on Empty Closets in December of 2014. My first face-to-face was the first time I met my now therapist in December of 2015. We still talk every week!

    The first person that I told was a friend who was a co-worker, he helped me find a therapist who I discussed it with. Then in order over time: My parents: brother (who I needed a ride from because my mother threw me out of the house when I told her): a close friend: then everyone at work because I went full time.

    My sister. I'd seen her stand her ground against racism and misogyny (she was amazing), so I knew she would be a safe bet. Sadly no longer here, she was my greatest ally and very best friend.
