I dated a Latino guy with a Spanish accent that I found really cute.

I like most European accents, whether they be Italian, German, French, Dutch, Nordic, etc.

As far as American accents, I like guys with accents that aren't overpowering. For example, guys from New York or anywhere in the Northeast mostly which just sound like normal English to me. (Most young people these days do not sound like stereotypical over-the-top 'New Yawk' accents, I'm just referring to a sort of 'normal' pronunciation that I am accustomed to).

People from the West Coast have rather inoffensive accents also.

But I really don't like Southern redneck drawls and twangs, it can be painful to listen to. Midwestern accents, from like Minnesota and Wisconsin (e.g. Michele Bachmann's accent) are also sound kinda frumpy to me and not a turn-on.

As far as British accents, some are sexy, some are not. I find Cockney English rather grating on the ears. Not such a fan of Mancunian accents either.

Overall though I guess I really prefer them not having a strong accent, I find it harder to relate to and communicate with someone if they speak with too strong an accent. It's less about sexiness, and more about whether a guy sounds classy or trashy. Though it would certainly not be a dealbreaker or anything, if an otherwise perfect guy had an unattractive accent.

I like lots of accents, usually if I like someone with an accent it makes me like that accent. Southern Irish accent is very nice though

My girlfriend is German and I lived in Germany.

German doesn't sound like that unless it's a video with a guy making it sound dumb... huh... like that video...

My favorite accent comes from my own country: The way people from Porto area speak Portuguese.

Am a sucker for French, despite having silly/goofy personal biases against the language.

Some spanish/hispanic accents are nice... I also like how Greek sounds.

Can someone specify what British is to them? I mean, I'm Scottish and the accents in England and Ireland are WAY different. Heck, even within Scotland the accents vary...

Edit: If the answer is "British = English" I will totally lose my shit cause that drives me insane that England is considered "Britain". Anyway have a nice day xD

I don't find any accents attractive. I enjoy the tone, but the more I enjoy the tone, the less sexually attractive I find it, if that makes sense. I'll be attracted to the person behind the voice, not the voice itself.

Yeah exactly. The difference between any Scottish accent and any southern English accent (we share some 'British' vocabulary and spelling but it stops there) is just as big as the difference between a southern English accent and an American accent, so saying you like 'British' accents is pretty vague.

At the end of the day, I don't really give a shit about the actual accents themselves, it's more of a symptom of 'Britain = England' like you say.

French and Italian accents are pretty nice - or was it because of the guys that I've heard with those accents were pretty nice? :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:
I have a love/hate relationship with the British accent :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

I'd say French, but maybe that's because the people I know are sexy af.

I really like the British accent, although not completely in a 'sexy' way. Swedish is nice too :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

edit: I know there are different types of British accents, but I'm not well-informed in that sense. Will 'normal' British accent cut it?

I've said I don't care, but I actually love Stockholm accents (not so much Norrland, but I haven't heard any other Swedish accents but those), and I love urban Finnish, but I don't mind New York US and Parisian accents. Going with my original response; it doesn't matter what the voice is, more the man who has it.

I've never left Australia, so I will swoon over pretty much any non-australian accent haha. I mainly like russian, or American I guess.

Since I'm crushing on a German foreign exchange student, I'll say German. I also like Dutch/Flemish accents; they sound quaint.
