I only play single player, but I would check out EC server. It's an interesting idea.

I play it on the Xbox mostly these days because my laptops broke and it's just easier when my xbox is always on.
I'm a total noob at it though, I just build myself a house with everything in it. I have a forest, an animal farm, a wheat farm, a bedroom and mining area with carts. I don't think my guy has seen daylight in years. :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

I made a house that was a 160 block tall phallus once. It had lava coming out of the tip.

I'm more into modded Minecraft modpacks like Feed The Beast, but those packs are huge and my computer can't handle them. So I usually just play vanilla and build stuff on my PC.

Whereas on my sister's high-end gaming PC, tap into the unlimited supply of lava from the Nether, feed it into my lava powered generators, and then I RULE THE WORLD! And by that I mean I use the power to run super powerful quarrys and double my ore count in the process.

I don't play much anymore. But I do like playing on multiplayer servers whenever I go on.

    Right here! *raises hand* :icon_bigg
I love playing minecraft! I both play single-player, and on a small server.
I often end up taking breaks from it though, as it tends to get boring after a while when I've got all the resources I'll ever need, built a house, and, done some exploring. It just doesn't feel like I can contribute much to a server as I'm not an overly creative builder =/

And as for the running a server... I did that a few years back, and let me tell you, it is a LOT of work. Not that it can't be done successfully, but there are a lot of things to consider. My best advice would be to not expand too much too fast. Also, whitelist. Sure, it takes a little extra work, but it keeps the griefers at a distance.

I tried to get into it but after a while it became too repetitive for me and I got bored :/

I still play singleplayer, some interesting mods like Pixelmon and such. Had too many bad experiences with multiplayer in this game, tried to make a friendly server myself and it got wrecked. Hoping eventually I'll have a friend near so I could play LAN and not have to worry about servers, and still build together.

Minecraft is what I'm on a lot.
For general creative servers, as well as survival games or parkour, I suggest Snapcraft (I forget the ip), though it's mostly that if you have a rank, you're noticed, and the ranks are almost always the only ones in chat. It's pretty nubish. For a role playing server of sorts, I use CreativeFun (creativefun.eu, I believe), and it's awesome. There's also Mineplex (mineplex.com), which while popular, has many "nubes" on it. I've mostly gotten ahead of my former nine status, and these are great for nubes and experienced players alike.

    Hello!
I share an account with my sister. I mostly play singleplayer, but I like this one server, ghast.biz. She plays on Candycraft and all these different ones. No idea how she keeps up with them all.
