When you dream are you usually yourself or someone else?

I dream as myself. If not it typically centres around something to do with me-

-such as my death or me being tortured or chased by malevolent entities. The one decent dream I had that was 3rd person of myself was when I was digging a hole for one of my basil bushes.

 

Always myself.

 

i'm ALMOST always the man i am inside. i have some super powers but can't always tap into them dang it lol. i also have a few un powers, like not being able to drive, don't understand it because i can drive very well.

 

I'm usually myself, but one time I was the floor.

 

Sometimes I'm myself, but when I lucid dream (which happens a lot) I'm not exactly in the dream - I'm just watching what's happening in the third person. It's like I'm watching a movie except I'm controlling what happens.

 

I tend to dream in 3rd person and am usually someone else, though at times I am myself. I mean I've had dreams where I was a cyborg Paul Walker, and other dreams where I was every character at once. Even been a cello before. Dreams are crazy like that

Sometimes I see things in 3rd person, but still as myself, if that makes sense.

Sometimes I'm someone and then suddenly I'm someone else but I don't even realize 'till I'm awake
And I'm usually a boy.. which never really seemed strange to me until considering I'm trans

I've dreamed I could fly or run reaaaaally fast and I absolutely loved these dreams

 

I'm mostly myself, but as if I was in a movie. I see it from the outside and there's camera angles and zooms and crazy shit! Sometimes I have modifications such as being a mermaid, an alien, obese or pixelated. I only remember one dream where I wasn't myself, but a gay guy instead.

 

It's me, but it's the me I want to look like.
Sometimes it's supermodel me, me more masculine, or just me now.

 

I'm always myself, in third person and in a extremely strange situation.

 

Usually myself from a 3rd person point of view. Rarely I'm someone else unless it's a game dream.

I did have a weird one recently where I was Saul from Breaking Bad/Better Call Saul. He/I was quite upset about a birthday that's about all I recall.

 

The last dream I had involved stealing office equipment from Hell. It's entirely possible to read too deeply into that lol. The way I see it is, that's what happens when you listen to music that says "satan" hundreds of times per day and read books about demons.

 

Most of my dreams are of two types,
1. I am myself, people around me are ones I know
2. Real scary nightmares and weird dreams which I try my best to forget. (the one popping up now is the one where I go into anaphylactic shock o_o T_T)

 

I rarely have a body image in dreams. I always view everything in first person.

 

Ditto - though I usually can barely make heads or tails of my dreams.

 

Depends. I've morphed into other people without explanation but I usually dream as myself in first person. If I'm someone else then it's in third person.
