I sometimes go to dog-shows, to watch the judging.

I love when they call out, "Would the next bitch please enter the ring". Makes me giggle just a bit.

If guys started posing in front of the mirror and captioned " To my hommie bastards, to my saucy douche bags". I wouldn't be offended, I would laugh my ass off :roflmao:

I'm not really annoyed by it. I mean, to be honest, most girls do act like bitches but I can understand why it can be so insulting to others.

Bitches in that context can refer to anyone. I call my guy friends bitches all the time and it is truely absolutely just a harmless thing. If gender equality is such a big deal then you'd think it'd be the same for women

*shrugs* Most men act like douches too. But then, most people regardless of gender are douches. I kind of get what some people are saying though, I see how between close friends it can be used as an affectionate term.

Yes, especially when male friends would try and casually address me as a bitch.

I can relate to this. As by now some of you know that I don't have a filter.... I really don't, it's quite sad..But the context is important, I won't act like I've never called anyone a bitch before because they were being annoying if I tried to cover that up it'd be a croc of shiz . I do use the word casually with my closest friend because I have a pretty close knit circle.. we all curse like sailors.. man my kids are gonna have stories to tell their kids about me..: your grandpa was a spitfire and he cursed like a sailor XD.

I'm only offended if it's directed toward me to be offensive on a personal level. Now on a grand scale I don't think it's right and now it's just accepted in popular culture to refer to women as that. My husband and I have a running joke where he calls me a bitch all the time, but it's an affectionate term and I get the biggest kick out it. It's so hilarious. Some may not see that as right for him to do that but it's all in good fun between the two of us.

I believe it should be reserved for only the worst of the worst just like "dick" is used for guys. However, it's not my job to tell you how to feel about it.
