When do you feel most lonely?

    Hi there, weird question, I know. I realized though that I think about loneliness and not being in a relationship most in the summer [when I have a lot of free time]. During the school year, I tend not to think about it because I'm busy and preoccupied.

    When do you typically feel most lonely? (I guess this is a question for single people?) Thanks for any future answers!

    I am single, and I absolutely love living alone and hours and hours of alone time.
    What makes me feel lonely is when I mean well, but am misunderstood, and there is a disconnect instead of a connection as a result.

    I feel the most lonely when individuals that I want to be with are out doing things with other people without me.

    Inside a classroom if a lesson is going badly and I start to wonder why the hell I'm doing this.

    Or the times when I actually get to see my love, and the next few days after her visit are absolute hell because I miss her so much.

    It varies.
    I can feel pretty lonely sometimes, and even if I'm working on my own somewhere, I can feel quite detached and anxious.

    The time I feel loneliest is when I see a couple doing regular everyday things like shopping etc. That can bring me down a bit.

    Well, I don't have friends as it is because I'm shy and do nothing but work. But I guess the loneliness hits most when my kids are at their mother's and I'm home alone.

    On the weekends. For some reason I pine for weekends during school but then I pine for school on the weekends because I miss being with my friends. Sleepovers are a little rare for me because my friends are SUPER busy all the time.

    (I'm an only child... it gets super lonely. That's why technology is my best friend)
