When we do this thread, we see that there a lot of atheists and agnostics. We've also done threads on whether religion's view of LGBT issues have affected involvement with religious institutions. In some cases, it has. People don't want to deal with an institution that from the get go shames them and makes them feel guilty for their very essence or make-up. For others, it's just that religion isn't as popular. It isn't rocket science that religious institutions are frequented far more by nuclear families than any other type of familial, marital, or civil situation.

I'm a Catholic who also practises Buddhist traditions and has a very agnostic-y mindset. Kinda weird, but I've always been this way, so... *shrugs*

Personal mixture of Buddhism with Bushido. More so the former, with elements of the latter incorporated.

    Basically, I'm a monk samurai -- with attitude~!

I am a pretty devout Christian. I don't go to a church at this point in time. I don't think you have to. I can be bisexual without having a male partner therefore I can be a Christian and not go to Church. I believe that one should live their beliefs not just proclaim them for just a few hours a week. I also believe that if more so called Christians would welcome people like us into the Church instead of alienating us they would actually be doing what they say they have been called upon to do. Myy sister is a lesbian and has been rejected over and over by family and so called christians I have seen the damage that occurs because of hypocracy. Just love and be loved man. There is only one judge in my belief and he does not reside here. No one on earth should be passing judgement on anyone else. Yes I am a Christian and I am also bisexual. It can happen.

I was raised Pentecostal since I was young. After some struggles I had, with the help of my boyfriend, I chose to call myself a Christian. But, down the road, I ended up becoming non-theist. I still wish that the views I had as a Christian (since I practically had a very personal view of things) are true, but I can awknowledge that the chances are not high of it being true, so that's why I'm now non-theist.

(Yes, I don't like using the word atheist just yet. It's new to me still... the whole change.)

I believe in the Cult of Rob Schneider, the man who sacrificed his human form to become a carrot to save man kind from the darkness, but is now a ghost who thinks he's a golden retriever. And now he is forced to star in pointless movies for the rest of eternity!!!

both my parents were raised Catholic but my godmother was a buddhist and she influenced my family greatly, So i would say I'm mostly buddhist although i don't mind going to catholic churches and camps with my religious friends.
