As a woman who has never experienced another woman yet I do have a vision of my ideal woman - I would prefer a more tomboy girl, shorter hair, tattoos a bonus

Whats your perfect female partner? just interested

I would like to meet a quiet person, an intellectual interested in history and who isn't interested in parties or make up or fashion or activities that involve lots of noise or crowded places.

Someone kind, gentle, supportive and loving though not clingy or wanting to be with me all the time.

I prefer femmes in all honesty. It doesn't have to be hyper feminine (short hair can be attractive, but only if It's balanced out with make up and more feminine styled dress). But physically...yeah. I'm usually more physically attracted to straight women on average because of their looks, but I wouldn't want to date a straight girl for obvious reasons. I'm also sort of into the goth look (with dark hair and darker make up) but it's not necessary.

Now for personality....I want a serious, long term relationship. Someone who sticks with me to the end, loyal, trustworthy, sort of a romantic. They must be introverted, must be out of the closet and accept themselves, prefer no kids, dislikes casual sex (I'm not doing that at any stage), and I like gamers and artists/writers too, but It's not needed. As long as I can still gush about that part of me to them.

Pretty much this for me too. I'd add that I'd like someone to go out with, not yo parties, but galleries, museums, the biggest ball of twine exhibit, etc. Someone who is funny in a non-mocking, sarcastic way and can enjoy the little things that make life wonderful and crazy.

Physically, I don't know. I'm more driven/turned on by personality than looks.

For me I think someone has to have the personality because without that, the looks are immaterial. I'm not very interested in beautiful or good looking women. The women I like the look of aren't the conventionally attractive.

What does a straight woman look like?? Straight women come in all shapes and sizes just like gay women. Percentage wise are there more butch gay women than straight ones, yes probably but there are plenty of feminine looking gay women they are just harder to spot

I don't think straight women or gay women look that different on average. lol

I just meant that I meet more feminine straight women on average, so I have more physical attractions to women that sadly end up being straight. I prefer feminine gay women, but you're right that they are harder to spot. Most of the ones I see on dating sites are not that femme looking, which is okay for them, but not at all attractive to me so I have to shift through more matches.

Exactly. Well said. The personality drives the attraction for me.

My ideal female partner is someone who is smaller than me. Ive always loved the idea of being able to hold my ideal girlfriend. Someone who has a creative mind and loves art. She's someone who's supportive and is always there. She doesn't have to always be sweet, but she's kind.

And my parents said I'd never find a use for an MA in History. :relaxed:

I'd probably agree with most of this, and they'd preferably like animals.

What about those of us that stopped at the B.A. in history? Are we doomed to the role of wingwoman? :grinning:

I want someone that will sit on the porch swing with me. Someone that I can sit in comfortable silence with while I am lost in my thoughts. Someone that isn't afraid to laugh or cry. Someone that I can share my love of nature with. Someone that still looks at the night sky with wonder. Maybe I am a hopeless romantic wanting a romantic comedy for a life, but these are all parts of me that I want to be able to share with someone special.

Medium build, any hair colour, any hair length, any eye colour - as long as those bright eyes sparkle in my presence, lol. Shorter than me, doesn't have to be girly, I won't mind dating a tomboy or even a butch girl. Oh, and the most important part: She has to like other girls. Sorry, couldn't resist, lol.
