What's the best non-sexual sensation ever?

This, while waking up feeling all warm and cozy in bed.

 

Running your hand under hot water then quickly flipping the faucet to cold.

 

Taking my socks off under the covers.

 

You know those "electric shock" games you find at places like Dave and Busters or Gameworks or even the movie theater where you hold onto these two thick rods and it vibrates your hands until they're just about numb?

Yeah, that.

 

Either sitting on the beach with a two-ball screw-ball and lemonade...or, sitting in the snow in the woods, watching the snow fall

 

Driving late at night on the highway where there are barely any cars, and you have the windows open so you hear the wind rushing in, howling about. The rays of the moon gently resting on the hood of your car, and the feeling of having all the time in the world to think to yourself. That certain feeling of freedom that you are in no rush to go nowhere and have no obligations. It just has an overall calming sensation that leaves me feeling great every time. -w-

 

Driving a big Cadillac over Lake Washington at 80MPH with the windows down and seat heaters on.

 

Turning the air conditioner on high during the summer and having the fans on high and its freezing in the room. Something about that drives me wild

 

On a really hot night when you turn your pillow over and the other side is nice and cool.

 

Biting on a Tootsie Pop. Specifically, the cherry kind.

A hot shower when the house is freezing cold.

Getting goosebumps. The tingly sensation is just awesome.

 

I love traveling solo too, and it's better for me at night. I love driving at night.

Also, taking a walk outside after a rain storm. The smell is amazing and all the colors of the trees are more pronounced.

 

I kind of like it when I'm in only my boxers and I have my extra soft blanket to cuddle me =).

Sometimes when nobody is looking I kind of squirm around the blanket to get some friction going, and it feels great =D!

Let's see. Overall I don't think anything beats the sensation of live music, specifically when it's your favorite band or one of them playing. There's some kind of unspoken unanimous sense of connection and understanding with everybody in the room and everybody just loses themselves in the music all together. It's almost surreal singing your favorite lyrics along with 300 other people including their original performers. Just being part of that in itself for me is indescribable in words.

Otherwise I went in a hot tub outside during a freezing winter night once. Your hair gets plastered to your face and freezes but you don't feel cold it's pretty awesome. And if you get out for like a second and go back in it feels amazing. Another feeling I love is just chilling with a bunch of friends watching a good movie and getting really into it. Or super awesome food. Or just listening to the rain fall. And laying in bed when you aren't woken up yet but not totally asleep of course. Especially when your cat is there right next to you to hang out with and cuddle ^_^

Getting my hair washed before a haircut

Walking outside in the spring or autumn, if there's a tiny cool breeze and then the feeling of the sun on your face.

 

Landing the perfect shot, right in the bottom corner so it flops down to the floor (squash)

oh, and walking in the rain or standing just behind a waterfall (almost under it). something about the ceaseless fall of water is just so calming.
