What weird odd beliefs have you heard?

I met a person who didn't believe in dinosaurs.

Not like a lot of people who think that they are just younger than what scientists say, or that they are different creatures. This girl actually believed that dinosaur bones were made up. Like every scientist faked them.

 

Was she Christian? Because there are some bat shit crazy Christians who believe the Earth is only 6,000 years old. There's even a museum type thing in Kentucky where the humans lived with the dinosaurs. It's really pathetic.

She was mormon. The thing is, most Mormons believe that the world is only 6,000 years old. However, most of them believe that dinosaurs are either a.) younger than what scientists say, or b.) other creatures or rock formations.

She didn't even think that the bones existed, and if they were, they were fake.

 

I met a guy while out on holiday that really did believe that the Illuminati were controlling the world and would eventually take over. I thought that was a little...strange.

 

My grandmother thinks the smell of popcorn is toxic... Also that bread crust and deodorant are unsafe

 

When I was a child I thought if I had candy or food in my mouth while doing number 2, I'd choke on it... Kinda like as if it'd get sucked into my throat when releasing my bowels.

 

Im athiest so i think all religious beliefs r strange and make no sense..like when men die there r 12 virgin women waiting for them..somthing like that....wut tha fack?!

I want to say every religious belief ever, but...staying on topic to the forum, i just heard the other day that gay marriage will lead to necrophilia. Not just legalized, but that SSM will actually cause people to start humping corpses, since nothing will be taboo anymore. :eusa_doh:
