Starbound and One Hour One Life
Just finished Spiderman: Miles Morales. Starting the DLC for Assassin's Creed Odyssey.
Today I started to play Rise of the Tomb Raider. I hadn't played games seriously for years and this is a significant change. I used to don't enjoy video games anymore. Now I think something changed in me and I got back my interest.
Just bought several more games and trying to decide which one to tackle first.
Got Days Gone, Borderlands 3, Fire Pro Wrestling World, Uncharted: Lost Legacy and Ghost of Tsushima.
Thinking I will probably delve into the last one first.
Ghost of Tsushima is genuinely amazing. Like one of the best games I've ever played.
Right now I'm obsessed with Crusader Kings 3. I tend to like slow placed, strategy/sim style games so ck3 is just nails it for me.
Was suffering through Cyberpunk for a bit but now I'm back to Planet Coaster on the PC
I was having trouble finding a game where I don’t have to kill anything and nothing can kill me. I have racing games already so I was having trouble finding something to play. This morning I bought Story of Seasons: Friends of Mineral Town for my switch. I started playing at 8am and didn’t stop until 3pm. I just got it to tide me over until Stardew Valley got delivered but I don’t know how much better Stardew Valley can be. It would be nice to play a game where the better part of a day isn’t spent watering crops.
I'm playing four games currently, cycling between them
1. Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order
2. Jurassic World Evolution
3. Kingdom Hearts 1
4. The Sims 4
Earthbound and Chaos Rings 2
Rise of the Tomb Raider. Wow, I really love the big buildings and church that are built with stone. And this game is full of them, Like other Tomb Raider games.
This is a huge bell of a cathedral.
Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity. I've done the entire storyline, so just working on some of the side quests. Eventually I'll return to Cyberpunk 2077; for now I'm just in a fantasy RPG kind of mood.
No image is shown why.
Final Fantasy 7R
MegaMan Battle Network 1
It's a pleasure going back to some old games I used to play all the time. The FF7 remake has also been very enjoyable so far. Can't wait to see how it's gonna continue.
Tried playing Stardew Valley. Stopped after 5 minutes because it was like a terrible version of Story of Seasons. The graphics are horrible I can barely make out anything on the screen, everything is tiny which makes it even worse to see, it didn’t tell me what I’m supposed to do or how to do it and also the controls are a nightmare. The cursor is super annoying and if you aren’t precisely over the right spot it doesn’t work. On a computer with a mouse for better control and a bigger screen it might be fun. Story of Seasons Friends of Mineral Town I bought two weeks ago. I’m two years in and one day away from proposing to another girl. I like it so much better.
I guess to each their own but after having played both varios SoS titles and Stardew Valley, the latter is definitely my favorite. There is just so much to discover and do and the creator of the game still releases new FREE content every few months. I personally love the pixel graphics but I can imagine that it takes some getting used to it you've hardly played retro games before. I played the game on Switch (over 130 hours) and didn't have any issues with the controls. And it's still fun to me after all this time. Id say give it a bit more time and see if you can't enjoy this game after all ☺️
just finished max payne 2 and am starting a new run of hollow knight
