Actually, it's just as confusing to us when we get something that's only sized that way. When I bought cycling shoes here, I found out that those are actually sized the same way worldwide - European shoe sizes. But they knew conversions in their head, luckily.

10 in women's, 8 in men's. American sizes. Though it really depends on the shoe; different styles vary a lot in what counts as a 10. Sometimes I can wear a 9, sometimes I need an 11.

Size 4, British size. I've been growing upwards so why can't my feet grow?!

I've been in Belgium for a while now and I've learnt to look in the correct direction when crossing the road, I no longer need to look at the actual number on Euro coins to know their value and refundable beer bottles make sense to me.

But damn I can only remember my shoe size in UK size. Apparently it's 45.

I don't know why UK has to do everything differently either.

I don't know. :frowning2: I tend to wear a US women's 10 in horseback riding boots and running shoes. However, my converse, track spikes, and a pair of sandals are a US women's 9. I have a pair of sandals that also fit and are US women's size 6.5. Maybe they are just weird. I don't wear a size 9.5 in anything...
