Hi. I am going to be going to a gay bar soon and I don't know what to wear. Cute skirt, simple shirt, & a little jewelry. Black pants, nice shirt, nice shoes jeans, nice shirt, nice shoes help?:help:
If I had it in my closet...I would TOTALLY wear it. I sometimes feel I was born in the wrong century. I would have loved to dress like that. I probably wouldn't have liked the restrictions on women much. hmm...I think I'll just go to some medieval fair.
Since you're a woman, good jeans, a nice blouse, and nice shoes with some height, but that won't make you fall. I'm not a big fan of them, but when I've been in one, I just wear decent jeans, a polo shirt, and casual shoes. For guys, the more they don't worry about that sort of thing, the more casual they seem to be in the bar environment and usually wind up talking to people. Some people are really tense or are putting on airs.
NOTHING... LOL Just wear whatever you feel the most comfortable in, it will help you be more relaxed and easier to approach.
Whatever you feel comfortable in and what makes you feel confident. It should be something that you like to wear and that you would want to wear in front of others to make an impression (if that's what you're going for) or to have a nice night at this club.
All of you are hilarious. I appreciate all the responses. I think I'll just do the woman thing. Go try some stuff on and wear what feels good that day. Sometimes I feel like a sexy beast and other times I feel like a busted can of biscuits. In which case, a bath robe may be what feels good.
If you wear the bathrobe, don't forget the fuzzy slippers! =p Curlers might be another accessory, in this case. But hope you have fun, here.
