What made you feel awesome or smile today?

My little dog thinking she’s super fierce attacking some new stuffed animals. These are small toys so it’s easy to make them squeak, and whenever that happens she stops chewing on the toy and freezes until she confirms the toy isn’t going to do it again and goes back to chewing on it.

Was pulling out of the driveway and noticing some bright marigolds the neighbor had planted and also noticed my neighbor was waving and smiling. I returned the wave and smile. My radio was playing.

 

I saw an homosexual couple walking down the street for the first time of my life. I was happy to see them

 

I found out I get my new work truck Friday.

 

My local theatre is going to show some classic horror flicks for Halloween month, husband is stoked, too.

 

It's been a really long, cold winter here but today I went for a ride on my motorcycle in the sunshine! Smiling the whole way!

 

I got through Hurricane/Tropical Storm Ian mostly unscathed! Crying tears of relief!!!!

 

Coming home from my aunts house where I can eat what I want without comment and I have an electric blanket on my bed.

 

Yeah my dog always makes me smile. Their unconditional love and devotion is hard to deny.

 

You have to start somewhere. I thought it felt great to just come out to myself at first. Great realization that finally felt right. Congrats and good luck to you.

That is awesome, I wonder how often it's like that vs mine where it felt like the most pain I'd had at that point in life. Your experience sounds much nicer!

After a very worrying startup I did get the engine in my pickup correctly timed and it runs so much better now.

I finally realised that there were people that loved me for me, and I came out to everyone by marching through the school dorms with a huge pride flag twice my size, and I even brought it to classes. Most of my friends and teachers were delighted, and I didn't give a damn about those who were making disgusted faces at the flag. I realised I don't owe them anything, and that, made me feel like a god-dang queen.

 

Not technically today, but in the last 24 hours. I was on a bushwalk with a friend and an owl flew onto a tree right near us and watched us for a while, even though it was the middle of the day!
