I've been on EC for quite awhile yet I still don't know what the "Quote" button is for on the bottom of posts, nor do I know how it works. I've clicked it before, but a box just comes up saying "added to multi-quote" and I have no idea what to do with it. Can anyone explain this? Whenever I have needed to quote multiple people in the past, I usually just hit the "Reply" button on each post that I need to quote and I don't really know what the difference is between the two on this forum.
Press the quote button on two or more posts - then a button on the box where you write the post called 'insert quotes' pops up, click it and drag around the quotes in the order you want, then press 'quote these messages'. It looks like it does the same as just hitting reply multiple times but it's easier to arrange the order of them.
