What does EC think of the song "Take me to Church"?

    I think it's a good song. =] Liked it even more when I realised its darker theme.

    It's not even that pop-ish. Has more (indie) rock influences than the usual go-to pop. Even the rhythm is not that much like contemporary pop.

    I like the song a lot but when I heard it live with a full choir and Annie Lennox...for me..it took the song to another level of likeness for me.

    I really like the tune even though I really don't get (or care about) the lyrics. I heard once it has some lgbt subtext but I seriously don't know. I mostly care about the tune.
