All of this stuff about haircuts is making me wonder if hairdressers should be considered an "essential" service.

Lockdowns are temporary but if it goes on for too long and causes issues where people can't get haircuts or dentist appointments for months, I really begin to wonder if stopping society is really worth it.

I'm conflicted. Kinda dreading somebody attempting to cut my hair. But also excited for the memories and even if it looks bad it's not like very many people will see it.

I got my hair cut just before I went into quarantine. My next haircut will be a Britney Spears 2007 job. Luckily none of y'all know what I look like to be able to envision the before and after

F this government. I will fill the MPs inboxes with dozens of emails if it'll get the point across. Hope others will only do the same.

My grandmother passed away yesterday. I can't say it was unexpected - we had been expecting it for a couple of weeks - but that doesn't make it much easier. I feel a little bad that I didn't go see her before she passed, but at the same time I'm also OK with not seeing her either. I don't think I would have wanted my last memories of her to be totally bed-ridden and barely able to stay awake for a few minutes. I saw her a couple of weeks before the nursing home went into lock down anyway. She was so happy to see me, excited to hear about my trip away and we took her to see my grandfather (he's in another room at the same facility), not to mention that I gave her a big hug when I left. I think that is a much nicer way to remember her.

It sucks knowing that she is gone, but I believe she is in a better place.

My sleeping pattern is so out of wack... For the past week or so it's like instead of fully sleeping 6-8 hours I instead have been taking regular naps for 2-3 hours a couple times a day...

I'm really sorry about your loss, losing someone is very difficult, I hope you and your family are doing alright. My grandmother raised me and she passed when I was 17, it was by far one of the most difficult times of my life. Stay strong and keep her alive with all your memories ❤❤

Quarantine day 862: the ants have elected me supreme leader. I endeavor to lead them faithfully to the nearest fruit snack dropped behind the fridge.

It sucks being rubbish at everything and not knowing what to do with life.

Submitted the provisional curriculum again, expecting another e-mail argument with the uni advisor of studies in a few days since the info given still makes 0 sense and they seem to want to dictate what you do.

    Would love to leave.

On a positive, trying to keep optimistic with everything going on in the world. We'll get through this and hopefully quickly.

Annoyed at people who use the same excuse every single time as to why they are leaving a conversation or can't talk at all.

Do you think they are telling the truth or are just disinterested?

Hard to tell but if you know them well and have a friendship with them, the likelihood of them being honest is high.

That said, if you find there is always the same excuse, you could bring it up and ask if it is a good time to chat; you could also say to them you want them to be honest with you.

Personally, I will say to a friend when I'm not in the mood or right space to speak with them, or if I'm feeling tired. I'll ask them if we can chat at another time.

It is wierd working nights. I have worked 2nd shift for years, but my schedule has been changed now to nights. It has been a good change of pace, but I have to get used to my new sleep schedule.

Can't wait until lockdown is finished. Worth sticking it out for a bit longer if it means we can at least enjoy the summer months. Sadly many seem to be out and about as of the last few days.

Not left my town for 24 days now, feeling a bit cabin feverish now with the same surroundings. Easily the longest that I've not left this place in 8 years.
