What are you thinking?

I might have to have surgery again.

 

I hope everything is okay. Thinking of you.

 

I was just wondering how an old friend was doing. We don't talk anymore because he says homosexuality is a sin but I can't help but think of him sometimes. A shame he has to be so ignorant.

 

I’ve had an abdominal abscess since at least July. Antibiotics haven’t killed it, so now they’re sending me to a surgeon. This is unfortunately a common side effect of previous abdominal surgery, which I had in July of 2017.

 

I'm going ti have a really busy 2 days off of work. At least I will be getting a lot of stuff done this weekend.

 

Doesn't seem to matter how tired or relieved I am every time I finish a draft; as soon as it's done, I'm restless to get to the next project/revisit another. The next five days are going to drive me insane...

 

That stinks. Best of luck with the surgery.

 

Does anyone else name the store were they bought an article of clothing if someone compliments it? For example: "I love your hoodie!" "Thanks, got it at Target".

 

I get to play video games with my crush, and direct a short film. My life is going great at the moment.

 

So my doctor thinks I have kidney stones and told me to go get an X-ray done of my kidneys at my urologist. So today I went to my urologist. I filled out the paper work and got sent back fairly quickly. Then I sat in the X-ray room and waited for 40 minutes before the doctor came in. The doctor I had before moved out of state so I was assigned a new doctor (who was fairly young, think this may have been his first gig) he said that an X-ray won’t solve anything and that I should get a CT scan done at an imaging place. He said after I get that done, to come back next Friday. So I go to reschedule my appointment, oh yeah, one problem, he’s out of town next week. So I have decided that while I will go and get my imaging done, I am just going to have it sent back to my doctors office and talk with it with my doctor rather than my urologist. As for my urologist office, I don’t know if I will return to that one unless they assign me a new doctor because I was seriously disappointed with today’s results.

 

My boyfriend invited me as his +1 to a university dinner event tonight he was being presented an award at. I was thinking it would be some random thing with other students and would be chill. But no, to my surprise when we got there, we ended up being the seated directly next to the university president, a billionaire, and the vice president of Facebook. My jaw about hit the floor haha. Pretty cool ceremony though.

Is this site just almost completely dead on weekends? Barely anybody's posted anything since Friday night. Maybe it's just me imagining things, but still, it seems a little dead around here on weekends.

 

Tbh, it seems A LOT more dead than when I first signed up aha

 

It is, for sure. Fortunately I think it's' still active enough for people to get support when needed, and it's possible that traffic remains strong, but the number of posts per day has definitely decreased since I joined in 2016. I think message boards in general have become less popular though.

 

Go to the dentist for years, no cavities. Had to go to a new dentist because mine moved away, all of a sudden I have a spot that could become a cavity.

I hope I didn't wind up at one of those dentists that just scams patients and just says that there is a problem to get more money.
