Just my guess, most people don't look forward for there b-day after 13 -18 and
therefore tend to assume there peers/friends feel the same way.

like it cuz it's not the same than someone says it to you face-to-face. Sorry...

My university just canceled classes for a week because we're about to get blasted by a category 3 hurricane...for the third consecutive year in a row. Well, at least hurricane parties are fun.

 

It was warmer in Chicago than Phoenix today. It started drizzling when I drove home and there was a really pretty rainbow.

2 days into a dating app. I saw someone who looks nice and lives nearby, and I don't know where to go from here. I haven't swiped left nor right, it just sits there at app's home screen. Yeah she's pretty. But am I serious enough to meet her and date her? Do I look good enough for her? What if she doesn't like people who don't identify as gay exclusively?

Okay so I just got offered a job in the IT department at school. I currently work in HR. I think it’ll be a good change but I'm nervous because I kind of like HR. I’m just trying to focus on the positives.

 

I am not ready to get out of bed. I put my coming out letter by my dad’s bedside last night and I’m not ready to see him yet.

 

A flock of 14 turkeys has taken up residence in our neighborhood. Every day they're in a new yard.

 

thinking how much I hate feeling sick. seems like I'm finally back to just feeling old and broken down and can breath normally again. last week when the temps were jumping all around between warm and cold I picked up a sinus infection and had to take a day off work.

Me: (I haven't come out to my roommates yet).

(Internally): You know, when gay men talk about getting beards it's not always in the literal sense.

It always amuses me when people use the word gay in such a manner, because if what they said became true that sure would be an odd situation.
