    I fired up the most popular gay dating app (you know which one) just for shits and giggles as I sometimes do. (I have never and would never meet up with someone from there, in part because I’m taken.)

    Lo and behold the professor I had (and absolutely hated) for the last two semesters is a mile away. He lives 45 minutes away (he once told us the city he lives in in class) and his profile says he prefers to be discreet. I wonder what his husband thinks of that, and I’m even more wondering what the heck he’s doing around here at this hour.

    My friends are planning a group trip soon. I live VERY far away and obviously I can't join because it's the middle of the semester, and I don't even have the money to travel by plane.

    I have no genuine friends at where I live, for some reason I'm nobody's cup of tea.
    I feel like I'm going to die alone without friends, and obviously without a spouse, (Not that I need to get married, though.) around 60.

    It will be so nice to get back to northeast ohio tomorrow. I was walking around at the festival in my hometown today and somebody that knew me from school shoulder checked me and called me a faggot and told me I was going to hell. He then squared up with me.

    This is why I left this town. They are having their first pride festival next week. I hope it goes without incident.
