That seems like a good sign - better for him to be silently accepting than angry about it.

 

I'm not sure if I should mention the film title when I tell my parents that I am planning to see "Love, Simon" with a couple of mates. They are bound to ask what film we are going to see, and considering it has love in the title, well, I just hope that doesn't lead to an awkward conversation.

Plus, they'd probably ask what it's about and I hate talking about this stuff with them. Maybe I should just be vague about it, or say that I'm going to watch a different movie. I could say that we're going shopping or something.

Hmm. Thinking about it, well, I should be able to talk about this stuff with my parents considering I came out but it's almost as if I never did. Ugh. I don't know anymore.

You know you're stressed when your brain literally short circuits and cannot even form a tangible thought anymore. Needless to say I have an essay overdue and a project to finish which determines whether I pass or fail a class.

 

My best friend (kinda only friend) recently moved, bf seems busy, and mom/brother don't live at home any more. It's weird working with people all day wanting to go home, and coming home to an almost empty house. Despite all the brief and sometimes longer interactions I've had today, I still feel lonely. At least I feel it's justified to be lonely when you're alone.

 

Finals will be the death of me

One of my co-workers knocked himself out at work tonight. They were still waiting for the ambulance to show up when I got there.

Also, it's such a small thing, but I went to McDonalds after work and ended up holding the door open for this old guy, who replied with, "Thank you, young man." Considering I'm not actually out yet but do, of course, usually dress and act like a guy, that was just a little bright spot in my morning that I felt like sharing.

 

My bf and I are seeing Love, Simon for the 2nd time tonight. We will see if it makes me cry again.

 

I'm thinking I am so ready to be done moving and finish finals. Just a couple more days...

 

People need to stop setting off fireworks in my neighborhood late at night. It's not the 4th of July, it's not New Years Eve, we didn't win any sporting event. It's been going on for about a week and it's getting very annoying.
