    It's the Sedin's final game against the Oilers, and their final season in general. It's kind of cool that the only team they've played for is the Canucks. It's too bad they never got to win a Stanley Cup.

    I (over) slept 11 hours. Feel absolutely exhausted, been up for exactly 12 hours now and feel worse than if I got 5 hours of sleep. Why is oversleeping a thing? Why can't you get wake up refreshed or sleep forever and feel fine?

    Real answer - it has to do with the REM sleep cycle. It isn't the amount of time you slept that's the problem, it's that you woke up from a deeper level of sleep so it's harder to feel awake. If you wake up at the beginning of a cycle you're wide awake because you were barely asleep at all, but if you wake up at the end you'll be tired all day because you got pulled directly out of the deepest part of sleep. The longer you sleep the longer the REM part lasts, which increases the chance of ending up in that part when you wake up.

    He just asked if I was sure, and that was the only time he has specifically addressed it. That was the end of the conversation for awhile, then like 40 minutes later he basically gave me an "I love you/am proud of you" speech. Hasn't been brought up since.

    Its such a weird yet flattering feeling knowing that probably the only reason he's only with it is because it's me. Guaranteed if it was somebody he didn't like (eg. The premier lol) he'd shred them apart for it lol.
