There was a huge lightning storm last night and it was beautiful.
Lightning storms are an underrated form of beauty. I once witnessed a lightning storm here that was completely silent. No thunder, just flashes of intra-cloud lightning illuminating the night sky. It was sublime.
I love storms.
I've been up for an hour and it's already going great. Already knocked over a few cups.
Today is the last day of Texas' tax-free weekend!! Hopefully I'm out of Target by next year so I don't have to deal with that shit ever again. Now time to mentally prepare for Black Friday...
Apparently the angry "white nationalist" holding a tiki torch front and center in the New Yorker's top story photo: http://www.newyorker.com/ is a student at my university!
So bored right now.
I'm down 20 pounds! I haven't been this light since my sophomore year of college.
Why does my mother always insist on 'letting fresh air into the house'? It's freezing outside! Houses were invented as a shelter from the wind, not to have a wind current running through them. Thanks Ma!
Woohoo! 250th post, get in!
I am okay.
It still feels weird looking at the new website
Mom spelled my name right.
Mom wanted me to delete Facebook page.
Mom gave me money and clothes for birthday.
While cute the skirt was pretty damn long.
Overall a better day, but wish they would just stop with the me having to hide from everyone.
Things I never thought would happen: being in a relationship. It happened tho. Officially no longer single omg how
What will we do when we're sober?
Start drinking again.
Just remember to Drink Responsibly
I always do.
I think I've turned myself into a caricature. =/
With the same-sex marriage plebiscite/survey, I thought domestic poltics would probably be centred on largely tepid discussion on the topic and occasionally outrageous outburts.
But I guess things can't just calm down for one day. Just around an hour ago, the deputy prime minister was confirmed by the New Zealand government to be a dual citizen, constitutionally disqualifying him from Parliament and, after the High Court makes a determination, probably forcing a by-election that would threaten the government's one-seat majority.
There was a British journalist who noted Australian politics is akin to soap opera directed by Quentin Tarantino. I'm not sure any other characterisation better sums up the bizarre and petty nature of this entire debacle.
Good! We don't want a hungover Andrew on our hands!
I want to ask my friend is she has any feelings towards girls anymore but I don't know how to start that conversation.
Can anyone help?
