There is no place around me that will pay for blood or plasma, you have to go to Columbia or Charleston and I just can't do that, I just donate.

I'm not sure if this is true, but you might be able to get more money if you have a rare blood type. My mom and I were told that by someone she works with when I was in the waiting room to get called back. I never got to find out because I had to detox off lithium before I could be considered a candidate. Maybe that's worth checking into if you go.

I was just at the Portland Ikea; I love watching the planes land! (Our Ikea's right next to the airport)

Jesus, I remember when they put that in too. How excited people fucking got, lol. I even remember riding a shuttle out of the airport (I actually lived in Florida at the time but family all lives here) and the driver literally spent half an hour waxing about how thrilled he was there was an IKEA. But yeah, fuck. I need to get up there cause, furniture. But it's an hour drive :frowning2:

It hasn't exactly helped traffic. Thankfully, when they built the PDX Long-Term Parking Garage back in 2010, they widened Airport Way. That helped a bit.

Your resident black-and-yellow bastard is bitching again

Tired. I have no energy to do anything. I have a lingering headache. And I still have to work out today. I don't want to. I'm going to, but I have a feeling I'll just end up slogging through it and feeling inclined to chuck the weights across the room by the time I'm done.

Also, I just love the occasional reminder that, no matter how much I've got a good mom, that she is still bigoted where gay people are concerned. She know I'm transgender. She know I didn't pick this. She knows I didn't choose to be trans, yet somehow she still thinks that being gay is a choice.

She knows that I am a transmale. She knows that I find men attractive. What does she think that makes me? Two plus two, lady.

(Also, went back to my old avatar because I liked that one more.)

Because people are fucking stupid. EVERYDAY could be considered heterosexual pride day, because heterosexuality is considered "the norm" in society. It's like having a "White Pride Day" in the middle of fucking Iowa; completely redundant.

I'm AB+ which is why I donate plasma, my plasma is more useful than my blood

    Getting some more money, eh?

I hate bloodwork (I never donate blood, can't stand it). My veins are hard to feel and thin. Sure, you can see the blue line but they don't always have enough "volume" to their liking. I have to literally chug a gallon of water for them to look decent and plump. And, I don't even have much fat their so it's not like adipose tissue is hiding the veins.

Yeah, I dunno what it is about the medical industry but besides doctors, most of the guys I know in it tend to be gay or bi. Your phlebotomists, your nurses, your psychs, your pharmacy techs. I know that's off and there's plenty of straight men in medical but out of everything I've personally met...

I'm gonna refrain from making any inferences that phlebotomists could get kinky with the tourniquets (whoops).

Wow hey I vanished for a long time, but here I am at least for now.

My laptop charger got busted and my new one hasn't come in yet. And my "phone" charger is busted, too. So, I took my parents' laptop. It's my last resort internet for now. *awkward arm swings*

Opening up about my past is so awkward, but it helps me remember there were some good times thrown in there as well ^.^

So today on my way to work the outer tire rod of my car decided to break. Spent the majority of my day dealing with that. Now I'm tired and have a headache that probably won't go away until I sleep.

All in all it was an annoying day.

My gaydar actually worked with one of my classmates, I just knew he was gay. Then he comes out to some of his classmates, and I'm like I knew it!!! Also, I just took a 5 hour nap.
