The worst thing about ordering a binder is waiting the week during shipment. Fingers crossed.

 

I am home and I'm tired.

 

My dad and I went to Kmart for their going-out-of-business sale earlier, and it didn't disappoint. I haven't seen Kmart that busy in years. $230 later, my dad and I got a pretty good haul out of the deal. For me, that involved three shirts and a pair of jeans. It's sad they had to shut down our Kmart store to get people to shop there.

But it's really their own fault. Kmart had more theft losses than sales because the employees weren't allowed to stop shoplifters. The cashier said she watched two teenage girls fill their backpacks and stand outside the store on the front curb going through all the stuff they'd stolen.

They were so understaffed that they had a bunch of employees from a store in Taylor that closed earlier this week come to help with the liquidation sale. Despite all that, I'm really going to miss Kmart. They were the only big box retailer around here that's not Wal-Mart or Target. Pretty soon the entire Sears company will probably go down like the Titanic and there won't be any left anywhere.

 

Prince was homophobic.

 

So I've heard, which is disappointing, since a) he was somewhat of an inspiration for many LGBT people and b) it would have been a slap in the face to black male homophobia.

Then, I could see how someone in his position might feel pressured to distance himself away from that sort of thing...

Just got back from my first drag show that my university's GSA put together, it was a ton of fun.

 

Omigosh when I was living in Cali, I took my best friend to a drag show happening at my college and we LOVED it! It was so much fun!!! They looked way better in those dresses than I would! Haha

 

I've been feeling so lonely lately

I have a mighty need to play the upright bass after blasting Psychobilly. :lol:

 

Feeling dizzy and uneasy. Today did a number on me and I think I'm gonna have another episode again soon.

 

And someone managed to start a fire in my dorm building at 12:30 AM. Fun.

 

I have a hankering for sashimi. Might go tomorrow for dinner.
