Got invited to a university halls chat forum on Facebook. I'm absolutely terrified and have no idea what to say because I hate talking with more than 2 at a time.

Even though I don't like History, I should at least try my best.

Then again, I do have my Bachelors of Science in Mathematics so that could influence my mindset.

I had another student come out to me and our class as genderfluid and pan. I love how brave these kids are. They are so awesome!

I love when students have the courage to do that. When I was student teaching, one student stated male pronouns were to be used. Unfortunately, I got terminated a week or two later, so I wasn't able to see if the teacher on record ended up using male pronouns. But it did seem the teacher-on-record wanted to make an effort to use male pronouns as she asked me to correct her if she forgets.

I wish I could afford my school books right away, but I have to wait until payday...

I also have to go to Walmart tonight to pick something up when all I want to do is lounge.

Thinking about getting into EC again, if only to talk about LGBT+ things. I've come some ways from the person I was two years ago and the forum has lost its relevancy to me but seeing LGBT+ support threads on the other forums I frequent bring back fond memories here.

I'm just really surprised how brave kids are now. I remember when I was in school, no one ever came out. Now, I've had two kids come out within the first two weeks of school. This student said she hadn't told anyone in school until now but she did it in our class. I was so proud of her! (Or possibly they. I will have to ask what pronouns my student prefers). I just love how the culture is changing. And also makes me feel like wow, this young 13 year old came out to their immigrant parents. I should be able to do the same! I love that we live in a society now where it's becoming increasingly ok to be lgbt. These are good times to live in

People are so lucky that I behave ALWAYS at school because so many people would have a black eye if I didn't. Also, why do people @#$%ing think that it is OK to call me names and yell at me. Or that it is OK to talk about my gender right in front of me without letting me answer them. (They end up exclaiming that "It's a girl!")

I just sat through 2 hours of the worst Rob Zombie movie, against my will really. The scariest part of the entire movie I think was when a very, very, VERY drunk idiot stumbled up the aisle and nearly tripped with two full cups of beer and almost spilled it all over me and my boyfriend. My heart stopped when I saw him stumble, for real.

Also I bought a school house rock t-shirt at Target for 12.99 and I'm so proud of it. It's pretty cool, in the geekiest way. Conjunction Junction was and still is the shit.

Oh yeah I forgot to mention, Jackson has a drug problem. My classmate told me that he's getting help. Unfortunately, I reported him to the counselors, so who knows what'll happen?

Made a joke with my only friend at my school I'm out to, and wow was it hard to come up with something when some classmates asked what was so funny. Awkward.
