Yes I got an employee discount so my food was 50% off and my dad gets a friend and family discount for 25% off and since it made our meals pretty cheap so I gave our waitress (it's her last day until August and we get along really well) an $8 tip.

 

That's sweet of you, both for your dad and the waitress; plus the waitress knows you so if you stiff her she'll get you back :roflmao:.

As a rule, if I ever have a coupon or discount for a restaurant with waitstaff I'll always tip as a percentage of the price of the meal sans discount.

 

I've recently been thinking about the Columbine High School massacre. I've been thinking a lot about the victims and the critically injured. I've been reading a lot about the victim's accomplishments before the massacre and it's all so tear jerking for me to read.

 

I got this department-wide email today:

 

I missed the fosters last night but I don't know if I should watch this season. Season 3 jumped the shark. They promised us summer of Jonnor. There was barely any jonnor. And then you had to 3A with Brallie having sex. Honestly, the writers screwed up by making Jude kiss Taylor. Gavin and Hayden needs to make up, because I'm tired of Brallie.

 

Ugh. This coffee shop is ugh. The reason it's ugh is because it's uber-Christian, the other patrons are petty and insipid in all the most aggravating ways, and the drinks are expensive as fuck. But there's plenty of outlets and it's close to my therapist's office, so not too bad.

 

I got a sunburn from walking in the sun for 5 minutes -.- ...

 

That's why I wear sunscreen even in 60 degree weather

I was in the sun for several hours today measuring, photographing, and pricing items to sell in a major rummage/garage sale. The most that could've happened is I'm slightly tanner

How do you tell a friend who's otherwise a decent person that you're really not comfortable with them hugging and grabbing on you or trying to flirt with you?

 

I don't sunburn easily (but have been on medications that make me very sensitive to sunlight). That's why I just stay indoors and if I go out it's usually with a ball cap, long pants and a long-sleeve shirt. If I stay out for a long time I'll use mineral sunscreen. Though, with this heat all beats are off and I just stay indoors as much as possible.

 

So my brother baked some chicken last night and we both neglected to see if the marinade was gluten free .....guess who is feeling like shit today:eusa_clap

I just avoided going outside for years and now I'm so pale I burn easily. Last time I got a bad sun burn it actually peeled and scared over, I'm sure that can't be good.

Always make your own marinades and sauces or read the ingredients VERY carefully. At restaurants, just ask for the food to be cooked without the sauce or marinade because they will usually use a gluten product as a binder or thickener. Steamed broccoli is almost always a safe side.

I was watching a theory on how Dory may be faking her short-term memory loss and I saw a mention of DHMIS in the comments and the comment was from two days ago.

 

This is the most nervous day of my life to be completely honest, so that's what I'm thinking about. I'm listening to depressing music to cheer myself up, haha.

 

Yeah, I hardly eat out anymore, and if I do I usually just get a baked potato.

We usually use a brand we have come to trust, or my brother just seasons our food himself, but he wanted to try this and he was told that it was gluten free.
