The more time goes by, the more I realize the whole "Have a sense of humor/confidence/personality and you'll meet someone!" talk is crap. I'm oozing with the three and I don't get anything for very many years.

I totally want to add Klingon to a multilingual sign and see if anyone even catches it...

Why do I have to be sick when I get my graduation certificate tomorrow and have my graduation prom on Saturday? It's a once in a lifetime thing, I don't want to feel bad during it because I'm sick :frowning2:

Ugh. Windows 10. Why? Just ugh.

I hate to break it to you Windows, but forcing your stupid program on to people's computers AGAINST THEIR WILL doesn't make it popular. Yeah, I know. It's so the figures will look good in your meetings "look at how many customers we have already! It's so successful!" and I know that you can use that same line to sell to customers but still...it isn't right. Come on, you know this.

I've had to go out my way to avoid the update, but others haven't been so lucky and have had the update forced on them.

It is possible to revert back to the previous Windows versions, but it involves some serious tampering with the settings and sometimes in some cases it isn't possible. In those cases, well...you're screwed.

It used to come up as optional, kind of like "Oh hey! Windows 10 is here, so why don't you click here for a free update?" but now it's got more forceful, saying instead "this is when the update is happening, deal with it."

I've found ways of screwing up their plan up though, and I've still managed to keep Windows 8 for the time being. Still, I know I have to be on the look out and it's made me get suspicious at any unnamed updates that come up on my system.

Thing is, it wouldn't be so bad if it was free, BUT it's only free 'till July. Thing is, they're pretty sneaky with this as they don't mention this on the pop up for the update. Not even in small writing either. Surely there must be some kind of law against this kind of thing right?

:bang: Stupid Windows. It's enough to make me want to give up on Windows completely and convert to Mac.

Also, I just looked at most post count. When on Earth did that happen? Have I really been here that long and commented so much?

    Time flies...

Yeah, that's kind of my problem with a lot of the fashion mags, I want pointers but it's like GQ and company's written for the same people who write it. They don't necessarily write for men in general- they assume all guys are hip to how they personally like to dress and live. I'm not unsubscribing yet but kind of would be nice to have something that doesn't assume I think spending $500 on a watch is a minor expense.

That I hate my job, and I just continue to hope with every passing day that I'll eventually find a better one. Not that it matters. Every time it looks like I've got a light at the end of the tunnel, someone blows it out.

Hey, I was sick the day before my graduation. I didn't feel better until a week later. It was just a cold.

I feel like I'm being tested. Must restrain myself yet again. I wonder how that thread is going to turn out.

See, I didn't even have to ask what thread it was. That's how insane it is.

    --

Well, the youth group I volunteer with has an annual bbq today. Go or not? On one hand, food. On the other...crowds. I don't do crowds too well these days, even if there's people I know pocketed within.

I simply hate the weather here in Finland sometimes... Yesterday, it was all sunny and warm, like 25 degrees celcius or something like that. Now, it's raining like someone is pouring water from a giant bucket with storm clouds and lightnings :bang:

What I do hardly qualifies as proper swimming. But I love the water. And I'm trying to learn. I actually had to stop my weight workouts this week because swimming has left me exhausted. Anyway.

    You got this, brother.
