This Democratic Debate is giving me a really bad feeling that Hillary Clinton's campaign might start going negative and alienating progressive liberals. I'm really hoping that does not happen because that would be terrible. It's also telling that this seemingly younger audience seems to be more behind Senator Sanders. Still, I'm glad this has been a debate on issues and isn't the type of rabble the GOP has (yet).

 

Why's that bud? I wanted to die when I was 15 too. Don't lose hope, there's still so much living left to do. Everything changes.

Trust me, you're going to look back at him in a year or two or even a few months and wonder why you were so into him. :lol: I was practically in love with a straight guy for 4-5 years and he stopped talking to me after I told him. Almost drove me to suicide. Now we're best friends but I still wonder what I ever saw in him. It's all part of the learning experience.

There are so many guys out there who you'll be into and they'll be into you. You're going to have fun, and this one little disappointment will mean nothing to you in the future. Don't let it rob you of your happiness and confidence!

 

I'm predicting Bernie Sanders will be like Ron Paul in that he'll stay in the race even after Clinton has sealed the nomination just to be a pain in the ass, and he'll use his delegates to try and change the party's platform. Jesse Jackson and Gary Hart both did this in 1984. Super Tuesday will be a major blow to his campaign, and while he may still keep going from there, the California primary will be the knockout punch. *Puts away crystal ball*

 

Liberals who describe themselves as progressive are more regressive than anything else. But the way Sanders supporters talk of him is the same way as people with the SNP here, somehow this one man has the solution to everything that everyone has missed. That solution is tax the rich or Wall Street, despite all evidence this would harm the economy, but Sanders lot hate both those groups so they carry on regardless. No one on his side has actually looked into the numbers, if they did they wouldn't back him, cutting the entire US military would not be enough to cover his policies, that's just how expensive they are. We have free tuition fees here and under the devolution settlement Scotland gets £1.16 for every £1 that England spends, even with that and our small population of 5 million we cannot fund this policy, it has sucked up the money from the rest of the education budget to the extent we've lost 4000 teachers since 2007 and there are 200,000 few college students every year.

Take it from someone who lives with these policies, you don't want them!

If what you say does happen Bloomberg will likely run, alternatively I was encouraged by Kasich's success in NH too. I've registered for my absentee ballot so I'll be keeping a close eye one this!
