    You know your politically obsessed when you keep waiting with anticipation for the Iowa caucus and the results on Monday night. I think the Des Moines Register is the Best site for the results but if someone can suggest something different please tell me.

    this was not my experience. as a woman that came out as bi while dating a man i was dismissed and insulted and called a liar and a faker and an "infiltrator" even though i never attended any physical safe space meetings for lgbt groups. also my ex got supremely weird and fetishy about it and it was Not Good and I wish I had kept it in. It is really shitty and I wish people would realize sexuality is a process and people all arrive there different ways, it shouldnt invalidate bi folk just because some use bi as a stepping stone to figure themselves out.

    - Confronted a co-worker today which, though feeling somewhat empowered afterward [possibly even surprising some] also left me feeling a bit shaken with their indignant tone toward me.

    - Found out afterward, inadvertently, while decompressing with a friend that somebody I might have a slight crush on has made progress with a mutual one of their own since I last heard anything [ie hickeys, at the least.]

    I'm not at my worst right now, but fairly low regardless.

    I'm literally stiff with anxiety just thinking about the caucus. "Oh my god, what if Trump's the Republican candidate? What if whoever gets the Democratic nomination isn't electable? AND MY PASSPORT ISN'T READY FOR ME TO MOVE TO CANADA!!"
