About 2 hours Until I have to school and take my midterm! Sucksn we only have an hour and a half to answer 75 :multiple and write an essay. Feeling confident thought

 

I wonder if my company covers counseling...

I dunno but they fucking should, especially 'cause you have an awesome attitude about damn gender roles! I don't forget those things lol

 

If you have private insurance through your job, they more than likely do. There'll probably be a copay depending on what type of plan you have, but it's generally covered.

Holy shit. I laughed so hard I cried. Maaaan, what is it about people and football that makes them go ballistic like this over the most menial things? And that applies to both footballs.

 

Im annoyed cause there is a guy at the uni who is very interested in me even though I've made it very clear that I am not interested in him........ Stupid.

 

This is the third time in the last two months I've rearranged my entire stupid desk area. Proof of how chronically bored I've been over the last year. And at some point I need to tear the room apart to find that damn 2.5 pound weight, because I've got three but I need all four because otherwise I'll be lifting the same weight for the next six months, even though I need to increase it. :eusa_doh:

Also, I'm out of coffee.

And that's terrible.

 

I want starbucks. I need my knee to heal by the time I'm back in North Carolina on thursday. That would be nice.

I love working out legs. And now my knee is fucked for a while.

This is all experience for me I guess. You learn from your mistakes. Now I know not to drink 10 drinks and start dancing. Because I fall and lose balance and bad things happen.

 

So my grandmother is going to a semi-nursing home today after spending all of last weekend and so far this week in the hospital, as we were initially concerned she'd had another stroke.

My mom is convinced that this is only for a couple weeks and then she'll be back at our house, but I'm pretty sure she's looking at it through rosy glasses. She had an infection that causes the same mental degradation as dementia, and even though they've got her on antibiotics, she's still becoming less and less functional both physically and mentally, and she's regressing badly.

Especially as stressful as it's been having a stroke patient living in our house as well as all the therapists and nurses that are coming and going from the house, I'm hoping she stays there permanently so she can get the care she needs and things can go back to normal around here. My mom and aunt have always been dead set against a nursing home, and they even promised her ten years ago that they would never put her in a nursing home, and now she desperately needs to be in one.

I keep trying to tell them that the place she's going to today isn't as bad as the one my step grandfather spent the last five years of his life in, where you walked in and were overwhelmed by the smell of feces, and saw sights you didn't care to see and a nursing staff that didn't really care. The place she's headed to is set up like a hotel, so the people there aren't constantly reminded of the fact that they're in a nursing home.

There are decisions that need to get made pretty soon here, and the ones in charge simply don't want to make them.

Feels good to get some stuff sorted out finally. Now I just need to get the rest of it all sorted...
