You know, I just love being a grown-ass man and still being told to watch my language.

    I am 24 years old.

I am not a fucking child.

I will talk how I damn well please in my own part of the house. It's not my fault that she takes offense to simple words. I already tiptoe around the subject of her stupid-ass cultreligion so as not to offend her, now she wants me to watch how I talk in everyday life, too? It's not like I'm swearing at anybody. I've never understood how simple curse words offend people so badly.

His dance moves in that video though... I'm still wondering if he purposely danced dorky like that, or if that's actually how he dances, xD.

I dance like that... or a different interpretation.

You should see the star wars vine of that. Also the original statement wasn't about the dancing but the music and he's fairly cute.

I swear I must give off some kind of vibe that tells everyone they can just blow me off all the time.

This happened to me for using the word "freaking"...

I basically walked out of the store laughing.

I just don't understand why people make such a big deal out of curse words. I mean, I can understand if those words are purposefully being used to hurt someone, but I watch my language when talking to people; I'm the picture of politeness.

But when I'm in private and I let a few words slip, I am far too old to have people telling me to watch my language, just because a few words make them butthutt. [IMG] I'm not swearing in a school, I'm not swearing in a church; I'm swearing in my privacy of my own home where I thought nobody could hear me, and I should not have to talk like a damn choir boy.

Unrelated rant: I'm out of tea. And whisky. And this sucks when I'm trying to write. [IMG]

This is basically why I make a deliberate effort to curse more than I normally would in certain situations. I'm baiting them. I want this kind of ridiculous people to reveal themselves so I know from the get go what I'm gonna be dealing with.

Swearing displays honesty and creativity more often than not. I don't see that there's anything inherently offensive about swearing and think people should be less sensitive.

Usually, I avoid cussing in front of people I don't know, but especially around females. I generally consider it uncouth for women to cuss and find it's sort of the prerogative of males (to cuss and not be seen as undignified). Sexist? Yeah.

Congratulations on coming out to two more friends. It's normal to feel this way as you are still trying to take out the bricks the wall that you built around you. As you continue coming out, the paranoid feeling will subside and you will feel more at ease with being being out and being yourself.
