    Hate getting my pupils dilated...

I probably shouldn't even be looking at my phone.

I feel good. Got a decent workout running around in the backyard with the dogs for an hour.

Yeah, that made my day; the original power cord went out almost five months ago. In my case, it was actually the plug that went into the console, not so much the power brick itself. Shortly after I turned the Xbox on, though, I found out that the game I really wanted to play, and which was stuck in the Xbox for the last five months, no longer works. But I've already ordered a new copy, so it's all good. Ought to be here within a week.

Ah man! :frowning2: I remember with the 360s, if you move them around too much with the disc inside, it can mess up the disc. Maybe that happened while you were trying to find out what had happened?

Yeah, that's what I'm thinking, because it was working just fine, right up until the moment the power cord went out. Now it tells me the disc is unreadable, but all my other games work just fine.

Oh god, people are trying to "reclaim" snobbery. Just what I needed, proud self-aggrandizing twats.

But....unapologetic pride is essentially what snobbery is in the first place...???

The amount of racial prejudice in the fantasy/gaming community is mind-boggling.

Completely disregarding the fact that we are speaking of fictional worlds with mythical creatures and magic yet a Black character in a medieval setting is what is found to be truly unbelievable. Even disregarding the fact that anthropologically speaking, there have been people of color in Europe during every single one of the eras that much of the lore for these stories was taken from. Even disregarding all logical truths.

The type of people that would be least likely to exist in fantasy settings are the exact opposite of the ones that are overwhelming represented in literature and media. The reason why is because their appearances are products unique genetic mutations in our own genetic history. The likelihood of the princess of your favorite fantasy world actually having blonde hair and blue eyes next to none. However, naturally it was that one Asian character in the background that ruined the immersion of the average western consumer.

Where have all my EC friends gone? :frowning2: Where?!

Eta - Oh Gen...you know such people have their own idiotic logic as to why we can't exist, all while playing around with conjuring the four elements out of thin air...

I only ever post here to complain about minor events or inconveniences in my life. What is the point of that

Was helping my dad right now and we went to another facility and they had a sheriff's deputy moonlighting for security and he was one of the hottest guys I've seen. He even made a passing comment of a band I liked (Marshall Tucker; my dad mentioned it to a coworker) and he made a comment and I wanted to talk to him but didn't have time or privacy. Hope I get to see him again. Might wanna make me want to help my dad more often .

I've figured out why the people here who seem to be in love with the act of staring bug me so much. They stare in the same creepy manner as cats - like they are trying to burn a hole through you with their eyes. They aren't the least bit dissuaded when you catch them in the act. Nope, they just continue staring intensely, as though you haven't noticed what they are doing and/or what they are doing is engaging in perfectly normal behavior. They don't say anything. Just stare. And it's always in places where you can't easily get away from them. Like in elevators. Or meetings at work. I really need a vacation away from this place. Badly.:icon_sad:
