    My mother doesn't understand why I'm angry that she accidentally fed me gluten.

    It's Labor Day and my sister, having the day off (she's started teaching), has decided to come visit my mother. They don't think I'm able to hear their conversation:

    Sister: I don't want my students to think I'm dumb.
    Mother: Your brother can't even get a 2-year degree in, what, 8 years? And he's the smart one. You'll be fine.
    Sister: How is that smart? Sounds pretty dumb to me.
    Mother: He isn't dumb, just a failure.
    Me: I CAN HEAR YOU~!
    *Door shuts*
    Me: Well, fuck you two, too!

    It's going to be one of those days. I can just feel it...
