Having full responsibility for the class for entire days is incredibly exhausting.

My mother recommended the movie Hellraiser to me..

It was pretty shitty, I had higher expectations.

Hellraiser is a very boring series, aside from the scenes with Pinhead. Only one of the sequels is worth seeing, but even then it isn't so much for the gore, as it is the concept of Hell. Hellraiser 3 is really bad, because it experiments with Pinhead's personality, and it just doesn't work.

Hellraiser: Inferno is the only film I liked of that series.

A crooked detective gets a hold of the Puzzle Box and... it's interesting. One of my favorite dialogue pieces, of any film medium, comes at the end, when Pinhead shows up.

I have a love-hate relationship with that series, because the films are terrible, but Pinhead is fascinating.

Congrats from a fellow academic bowl player! :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes: I only wish my team had as much success over the past four years as I have individually.

On another note, I keep looking forward more and more to college every day.

Pain is the best alarm clock. No chances to just turn it off and fall asleep again.

I watched it twice, once by myself and once with my boyfriend. Minus the Hollywood side of it, I can relate to so much of the movie. His family is affirming, and mine is not. I hope and pray that he could attend my funeral if I died suddenly.

I'm usually never self-conscious about the music I listen to, but I've always wondered how some stranger or potential love interest would react to my playlist. I mean, I have Corb Lund's "The Truck Got Stuck" as one of my favorites , and it's not even there because it's "ironic" or "kitschy," but because I genuinely enjoy it .

    ^ Schweet.

Anyway, I wore my newly purchased skirt to school today! Partly because there was an event hosted by our LGBT club about breaking gender roles. So I decided why not actually do it, and start fully expressing my gender as I can without HRT?

The best part about all of this is that yeah, I got some looks, I got a snicker out of a couple guys later in the day, but nobody gave me any real shit about it. There was a bit of confusion on whether I was wearing a skirt or skort (and then the conversation just ended up in utter confusion, and we all laughed at that). And the only comments I got at all were positive comments about the skirt itself!

Mom even saw me in it earlier, and her only concern was that today's temp was about 45 degrees.

I felt like a million bucks because I owned that skirt, today.

You're a lot more brave than I am.

Congrats on the positive reactions, though! :eusa_clap
