Keeping your thoughts to yourself works both ways. It can protect you, it can allow you to familiarize with those thoughts until you see that they have reached appropriate clarity. Letting people know what you are thinking is not always the wisest idea, because then you may be only telling them a figment of what you may or may not know is actually true. Confirming your thoughts over something (some concept, person, whatnot) is a hazardous measure, because we never can be too sure if the thought is actually true. We can think something occurs in this method, and we can wonder why this something or someone occurred (or is the way it is). And keeping our thoughts means that we treasure them the most. And either if we don't choose to keep them, people will perceive our thoughts differently than how we perceive them. There is no such thing - at least from what I think I know - as "equivalent perception."

I am probably explaining myself vaguely, so I will clarify what I mean for you. Anyone can assume some concept works a certain way. However, I can tell that person that this concept they think works that certain way actually works in the other way. That anyone disagrees. This is how arguments seem to commonly start. Considering alternatives in how that certain concept functions is fundamental for the argument to progress. There is the important case to continue building and providing possibilities while shooting down other possibilities. Even if this were the case, no one in the discussion will truly understand how the concept works. Especially in the cases where we are discussing how society works and how the human mind works, simplistic explanation do us no good. Because neither of these entities - and the entities within them - work simply.

Neuroscience attempts to bridge psychology and biology - although, a relatively new science, seems very controversial for the same reasons psychology is. There is that tendency to believe in "what I consider" inane "pop psychology" theories such as "Humans use 10% of their brain" or "People use one hemisphere of their brain more so than the other." I could be at least somewhat (or even completely) incorrect in debunking what I consider too simplistic to discuss from a neuroscientific perspective. There is also the notion that the brain does not work in a simplistic fashion, it just does not and it cannot).

Most of knowledge really seems to consist of beliefs. We cannot really know for sure. And contrary to what appears to be common intuition, truth is definitely not objective. Science seems to provide the intuition that what I just said is incorrect, and it could be incorrect. However, we - at least from what I know or think I know - are subjective beings. We are prone to cognitive fallacies that we are not at the bit consciously aware of. And, even if we were, we may not see it as that. We may see that as the actual "means of reasoning." From what I have seen, we all reason differently too. If we all reasoned the same, then the way we use words when reasoning would be equivalent. And this simply does not seem to be the case.

I have said enough, but this all that I'm thinking right now.

    Happy birthday!!!

    --------------------------

I think I'm still feeling ok today? Time to get some things done around the house that I've put off while I've been too depressed to function.

It would appear that I'm descending back into the "I could sleep for 24 hours and I would still be exhausted" phase again.

Told a friend that I wanted to be more confident and find my voice. So unknown to me, he has been purposely pushing my buttons for the last two weeks. I finally told him off night before last and instead of being mad at me for telling him off, he was celebrating. I am not sure if I should be mad or happy. You told me the truth yesterday, I still don't know how to take it.

I literally cannot wait for next Saturday.

I keep on fantasising about different ways in which we get together. Not that such a thing is going to happen but... insane amounts of idealism lol
