^That is worthy of the poetry thread.

I feel like I'm truly incapable of understanding the signals guys send out...or they are sending out so many mixed ones that it doesn't make sense.

With all certainty, they are sending mixed signals... Yeah... it can be frustrating trying to decipher all of it. At times, it's easier to read/decipher hieroglyphics.

Have you asked for clarification? I like simplicity, and I like people to be clear and precise. A lot of other people I talk with don't pay attention to my words and then make overgeneralizations.

Jeez, the wind is picking. That cold air from the Mississippi River is really bitter tonight.

So at my university's LGBT group meeting last night, they announced that they want a bigger social media presence. To accomplish this, they're raffling off a purple dildo and you earn tickets by sharing or retweeting their posts. I love this group a little bit more with each passing meeting...

    I'm feeling a bit of post-placement resentment.

Apparently my mentor flagged up marking as an issue, despite the fact that I practically spent my entire last week marking things in order to get stuff done. But of course, what I do is never enough. At the last minute, with only five days left, she told me about all this extra data stuff I had to do as well, meaning I ended up snowed under with yet more work. She then proceeded to call me 'scatty' about my lesson planning and said that I needed to make my lessons a priority so that I could get them checked through and get feedback...this being *despite* saying that one of my targets was to plan lessons independently, and also, it's pretty damn hard to prioritise planning when I've got SO MUCH MARKING TO DO that there's literally no time left. And yet, if I forgot to do one thing, it was automatically my fault. Well if you'll excuse me, but it is definitely not my fault that she is so full of contradictions, and that she piled so much onto me that I literally couldn't keep track of it all. It would seem that she's not at fault for forgetting to tell me about the data stuff until the last minute.

But hey, I'm just the student teacher.

Not very sensible, but who wouldn't want to hug a real-life tiger given the chance? Well, aside from people who value their limbs over cuteness  . This one might not mind though:

Had Denny's for breakfast. It might not seem like much but it was nice to just have some one on one time with my Dad. Everything has been stressful lately and it is nice to get out even if it is just for breakfast.

My usual breakfast seems like it's gonna be cereal, coffee, and some kind of over the counter pain killer from now on. I'm back to work and if I've gotta live with this for a while, I will.

But damn if my liver's not gonna look like a drunk's because of all the aspirin I've been shoving down in one way or another.

It did feel good hearing that the CEO of one of the online tech sites I write for really likes my stuff though

I love my hair cut. I'm working it.

It's more...'modern'. I would say. The sides are shorter, the back is shorter, and the front is longer. I like it. She did my eyebrows to....with a trimmer. So much thinner!
