    That is a TERRIBLE reason to get married. Even if it is a joke. Trust me, I've seen it actually happen. o.o

    It amazes me how he thinks I am just supposed to get this 55 up and running, full of water, filter going and everything by the time he gets home from work.

    For one, I am not very strong in the arm department. I cannot easily maneuver this tank on my own.

    For two, I would need to fill it up with at minimum 50 gallons of HOT water, scrub every inch of it clean, then let it sit for an hour at the absolute minimum before dumping it all and letting it dry on its own.

    For three, I'm still trying to figure out how I'm going to get the water in it when all of our usuals are currently occupied.

    As disgruntled as he is going to be to come home to an empty tank, he is just going to have to deal with it. I need his help. I know he wants to get it cycled so we can get fish in it, but we are STILL throwing ideas around for what we even want in the tank so....I don't see the rush.

    By the way, if anyone reading this happens to be an pro aquarist...please, I would appreciate you throwing yourselves my way.

    Come to think of it, about 80% of my time is spent reading. Reading news, reading articles, reading books, reading study material, reading posts, reading tweets, reading texts, reading manga, researching a.k.a. targeted reading, reading reading reading reading reading.

    I don't know how to feel about that.

    Ah, this newest Vikings season three trailer makes me wonder how I'm going to be able to wait until February! Sure, there might be a handful of historical inaccuracies, but compared to your usual History Channel fluff involving UFOs, it's something I'm willing to overlook.

    Ack, throw work together with lack of sleep and I'm just not getting much accomplished today...


    Although I did get the image to be used for the stencil of my 7th tattoo all ready for my appointment on Wednesday! In absence of other achievements this day, I shall consider that "getting work done." :lol:

    It's been a while since I came here...over a year. I'm still at the same job, and still haven't figured myself out.

    Anywho, I'm feeling very depressed right now. Just quit a hobby I'd been heavily invested in for almost seven months. I had to do it because it was ruining my health and affecting my job, but letting go of it wasn't easy.

    Maybe it's that I invest far too many emotions. Maybe I need to make a decision completely objectively and entirely unemotionally. Then I might actually get somewhere.

    Sometimes I think it would be nice not to feel, or to feel less.

    That is nothing. It's 29C/84F in Southern California. I'm not even sure winter is happening down here anymore. Granted, I love spring so I don't mind jumping into it. It just means that summer will be even earlier this year and I'm just not ready...

    Are you kidding? Though I guess it is getting cool on this side of the world. It's reaching 29 here today and then not getting above 21 for the rest of the week.

    I'm not ready for autumn and winter to come back. I hate days that don't get above 5C and nights that get down to -7C.
