I linked him to thread, and he was cool enough to answer a few more of the questions.

Q: Healthwise, is it more risky to cath an std or aids?

No, actually. A reputable studio will insist on AIM testing days before a shoot. If you pick up a guy in a bar, you don't know what he's got. With AIM testing, you know that he tested clean within the last few days and they use high-end, very accurate tests, unlike the HIV tests you'll get for free or from your doctor.

Q: Moneywise how much do pornstars get paid?

It all depends on the studio you're working for, what you look like and what you'll be doing.

Q: What are the pros/cons for working in porn?

I mean.. everyone's life is different. Some parents will care, some won't, some employers will care, some won't. You'll get guys who think it's hot.. some who don't want to date you because of it, some who don't care.

Q: is it true they make you take viagra and other drugs?

MAKE you? No. Forcing drugs on people is illegal. And pointless.. some guys don't need any help at all.

Many studios will allow models to take Cialis or Viagra and some even make it available.. don't ask me to name names, to be honest, I don't know who does and who doesn't. Some even use the Caberjet which is a sort of injection that will give you a hard on. Those are generally just for straight guys having gay sex... the gay guys seldom need any help at all.

"Normal People" (I'm guessing you're referring to people outside of the Adult Film Industry) ALSO have drug addictions and stuff too. I think he's saying that that group of people tend to be involved with addictions and other bad things a whole lot more than the population outside of the porn industry. Think of it like some of the big rock bands that are known to have had or still have big drug problems. Sex Drugs and Rock and Roll (Especially 80s Hair Metal bands). Being in a group like that increases your chances of having something bad happened to you dramatically.

well just to point out that doing porn is not the same as have sex.
you will not be placed with another guy and all you have to do is have sex .
you will have to stop when the director says so shoot from difrrent angles and it might not be as enjoyable as it looks like on other videos

I currently am working in the porn industry. Part of my sign on business with a new company was $52,000. It's a smaller company that was sponsored through a very popular company.
There is risks to everything you do. Best advice I can give you... change your appearance! If you have tattoos, they have makeup to cover them. Change your hair color temporary just for the films. There is so many pros to working in this industry. You'll never have to worry about going hungry or anything. The money that will be coming in from this....is just simply amazing. If you're looking to pay off your school, this is the way to do it.

As everyone else on here said, think about if you want to do a job that involves the public or education...because it may change your ability to work there.

Hope this helped a little
