Some people suit side parts better, and others look nice with a middle part. I much prefer wearing my hair at the side, because I like how it looks on me. Whilst we're on the subject, generational gatekeeping is bizarre and pointless. "Oh, you don't do *insert fashion here*? Well then you're not really gen Z!" or "if you remember this they you're gen Y, but if you know this other thing you're gen Z". I mean, I'm a cusper, but I'm technically gen Z and I follow trends / have interests associated with both groups. Besides, fashion repeats itself anyway, so what does it matter? I'd rather just follow the trends I like and leave the ones I don't. Wasn't that the whole point of fashion? Self expression? Let people do what they want.
