Tech Issue Wall/Profile post toolbar

    Would it be possible to get a toolbar for wall/profile posts similar to the one featured in the forums?

    I can understand maybe not having the upload image option on it or the hyperlink because that area of the site is public, so it may pose a security risk. However, what if we had a simplified one that gave us basic text editing tools, like bold, italic, underline, bullet points, etc, and the smilies/emoticon button?

    I find myself wanting to use this type of stuff in wall conversations, especially the emoticons, but am unable to do so.

    Interesting idea. This would likely come when we, at some point, upgrade to version 2 of the forum software we use. That will likely be a while, as our platform is really heavily customized, but we can add it to the request list. Nearly everything asked for got added in this revision, so there's a good likelihood it can eventually happen.
