Maybe the gothic style game "Primal" on the PS2 or just any PS2 game lol
Either sonic adventure/2 or Banjo Tooie
This is really going to age me here.
River City Ransom
So fun and hilarious. I would love to see it get a reboot. Great music too.
Paper Mario, I played it all the time in college and it just reminds me of a simpler time.
Ocarina of Time & GoldenEye
Okami, Super Mario 64, any Pokémon... WoW... it's the geimz!
The firmly underrated Pokémon Colosseum and XD games definitely.
And I could never beat Sorcerer's Stone on the PS2 as a kid either. The ghosts scared the shiz outta me when I was young. Back when she still played games, I'd let my little sister take over on the "scary parts".
Chibi Robo was great too but I could never figure it all out, and Paper Mario TTYD was always a favorite...
I'd sit down and talk about them in more detail, but then I'd end up typing a huge overextended paragraph and wishing my PS2/Gamecube and their games weren't stolen. Got most of the other stuff back but insurance doesn't like stolen games apparently. Eh.
Pretty much any Pokemon or LoZ game, because I played those a lot when I was a little kid. Even the new games make me nostalgic.
Specifically, Leaf Green and Minish Cap.
sonic 2 or final fantasy 8/10
Pokemon for sure!
Any Pokemon game , even the new ones make me think back to the original Blue version and being a kid in elementary school. Super Mario RPG, Kotor
Age of Empires 2.
Wolfenstein 3D, the original from 1993 or so.
Monster Truck Madness.
Final Fantasy VIII can leave me reminiscing for several days after playing it. It was the first Final Fantasy I had ever actually gotten to play. My cousin had let me try it out when I was five, and that was it.
Those were happier times, when things were less complicated with us as well as our families. So I guess that helps to drive the nostalgia. FFVIII isn't my favorite Final Fantasy in terms of story and pacing, but it's certainly the one most likely to tug at my heartstrings.
Lego Star Wars and Lego Indiana Jones
Basically all the Pokemon and Zelda games haha
Few games bring down the nostalgia harder on me than Digimon World, this was a game I could never find in stores so I rented it every weekend until the rental store sold their stock of PS1 games and we got it. Worms World Party is the same thing. Those are still my favorite PS1 games and I still play those exact rental copies that brought me so much fun as a kid. <3
Metal Gear Solid 2, the PS2 Grand Theft Auto games, and Guitar Hero II also get me with nostalgia.
One of the best....ever.....Deus EX. =)
Ghost and Goblins. Skate or Die. Paperboy. What was that one RPG where you were like some kind of cyborg who had to fight aliens and you had a team of cyborgs? I used to play that a lot during this certain time in my life that ended up being quite dramatic... but I never finished it. 1996. Oh! And Jet Set Radio Future. I was moving towards being more out and accepting so one day playing that with a friend I decided to choose Gum. I chose Gum for like twenty consecutive games. I liked being Gum. Being OPENLY Gum was a revelation.
Then my friend screamed at me for choosing Gum.
Don't mention Deus Ex, you're gonna cause somebody to have to reinstall it and replay it.
Super Mario World also brings back good memories. I loved playing it a ton as a child (I had the GBA version). Tarzan, Buzz Lightyear star command, and Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets on the Gameboy Color bring back a huge amount of nostalgia, I used to play my GBC a ton as a kid.
