:frowning2: Lots of kids need homes, the homeless children are being just as hurt as the gay community here. The article did say "The bill passed 35-19 and will now head to the House for consideration". So it's not technically a law yet and hopefully it won't be.

That sure sounds like the south to me. I cannot wait to leave this part of the country and never return.

Whenever I read something like this - it's so heartbreaking. The discrimination and ignorance is just baffling. Just like Butterfly8 said ... many children need homes. Your sexuality does not determine your ability to provide a loving household for a family. Bills like this exist in complete opposition to science and the truth. It's so frustrating.

Sad. More people need to be realistically informed on things and more people to need to get out and vote so we don't have people imposing bills like this in office. Considering how many children need homes and care you'd think this wouldn't even be a thought, to make it more difficult for them to get this, let's just narrow the chances of children finding homes. How logical. So absurd.

Sounds like a Southern White trash story to me. I met some people quite a few years ago who had just moved from Georgia - they were authentic, with their old South draw when they would speak. They moved so they could raise their kids away from bigotry. These were professional people with high paying skills.
