    Here in my area of the US, we had a very similar experience a few weeks back. It was a loud bang that everyone talked about - but they didn't have an explanation for. The one thing that was brought up was either jets breaking the sound barrier, or a meteor shower. Ours didn't shake the house, but still. It's odd! lol.

    My mother mentioned hearing a loud bang like a gunshot followed by laughter but I don't think it was on Saturday night. Plus you know, in the area where I live a gunshot would not be unheard of.
